Good morning brothers and sisters in the Lord
I live in a small community (7,500 souls) in the middle of America in the "pass-through" state of Nebraska, where I see the church Christ died to give life to and the "church of the corporation" clearly delineated. Nevertheless, as Paul told us, what is important is the Christ is preached, whatever the motive. I am simply grateful to be able to call whomever calls Christ "Lord and Savior" my brother or sister, with little concern of where they spend their Sunday mornings.
By way of introduction, I am the married mother of three grown children and the proud grandmother of six. I am also the associate editor of a secular newspaper, which means nothing to Father, since He uses this secular job as a vehicle for the weekly column He has given me where I am able to demonstrate and testify to His presence in the everyday mundane situations of life and in the extraordinary events He brings to each of us. As His child, I continue to marvel at His patience, His power and His providence.
This is my first ever blog community, and I hope I'm doing it right and that the Lord will be glorified, His people encouraged.
