After attending the first annual family retreat this past weekend I am convinced the Church Jesus established is growing. The Church Jesus established and then died for requires only that you and I follow him and minister to anyone willing to listen, and serve those who are not. I was honored to meet people from all over this area who are doing just that. following Jesus. They don't belong to anyone but Jesus. We are just trying to live out the Church described in Acts. The declining numbers institutional churches are reporting do not concern me in the least. Belonging to an institutional church is not necessarily wrong, it just does not represent the Church Jesus spoke into existence, not even close. Living the Acts Church is fulfilling and satisfying and I find more people respond to it's message than any other, because it's Jesus' message, not mine or anyone elses.
Moving forward I look forward to meeting others in hot pursuit of Jesus. The very heart of Jesus.
