Second Chances

At the first of every year I hear people talking about getting second chances, while true, it seems to me they may not fully realize that Jesus paid for all our "second chances" on the cross. All we have to do is ask. How simple is that? That's why a strong DAILY prayer life is critical to joyful living. I wake up each day with a new beginning, a clean slate, if you will. Let me encourage to stay in constant contact with the Master. Stay on your knees before him, asking for forgiveness and for his constant companionship. That's the central focus of simple church, with all the programs out of the way, it just comes down to you and God. I believe with all my heart that is what He has in mind for his followers. A one on one relationship with Him and then one on one relationships with those around us. Things got all blurred a long time ago and it's time for God's people to re-connect with Him and until that happens, nothing else matters. Nothing !
